The Lily & The Rose
A romantic floral with chocolate undertones, inspired by Casanova and his lovers. After an amorous encounter, Casanova described his lover's complexion as “the rose wedded to the lily upon the cheek”. Echoing the flush of excitement on cheeks and the white face often powdered in the 1700’s.
Notes: Lily, Rose, real roasted Cacao because Casanova loved to eat melted chocolate for breakfast with his lovers, Ambergris because it was a popular scent at the time, Bergamot to represent champagne, a touch of jasmine which was his preferred scent and skin Musks.
Feeling: romantic, nostalgic and slightly melancholy.
Smell: Rose, Lily, Chocolate, Musks with a waxy quality. Available in either alcohol or oil base. Please note the oil based only comes in sample size or 15 ML.
