Eros Rose Perfumery | An Introduction to Scent, Memory, and Process

Welcome to Eros Rose Perfumery! This site will be dedicated to my exploration of perfume. I welcome you to join me as I explore my own process, memories & relationships to perfume as a medium, in relation to its historic lore & the archetypes which inspire me personally. Over the past few years I've delved deeper into this subject. I've been surprised to find out how often it has brought me back to my inner world. Throughout life there have been many times I have been discouraged from sharing my strange and somewhat fantastical imagination and to attempt to share it. Historically I have struggled to find an art form that lends itself to sharing those inner and somewhat intangible realms with the outer world... To my delight and surprise perfume has become that medium! Scent gives us the power to move between realms...from the present to the past in the blink of an eye., it transports our emotions, protects us and gives us pleasure. Through our noses we literally take the world into ourselves. I hope to bring forth the beauty and meaning of perfume on this site.
